Zepos & Yannopoulos advised Daimler AG on the acquisition of Taxibeat -the Greek market leader in app-based taxi booking- by the subsidiary of Daimler AG namely Intelligent Apps GmbH – provider of the well-known e-hailing app mytaxi.Taxibeat was founded in 2011 and offers its services in the Greek and Peruvian markets. Said acquisition will help mytaxi, which is active in a total of ten countries and has more than 100,000 registered drivers, to expand its position as the leading European provider of app-based taxi booking.
