In memoriam| Constantinos Yannopoulos (1933 - 2019)

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear and esteemed Constantinos Yannopoulos, on 24 September 2019.

With more than fifty years of practice Constantinos Yannopoulos was widely recognized as one of the pioneers of tax law in Greece. He stood out among his peers for his integrity, kindness and generosity, always keen to help fellow lawyers and support younger associates in their careers.

A prominent litigator in several landmark cases and author of numerous books on specialized tax topics as well as of over 250 publications in tax periodicals, he was regularly cited and credited with addressing novel tax questions. Constantinos Yannopoulos, among his many contributions, served as a member of the drafting committee for the Greek Administrative Legal Procedure Code. His work was dominated by a spirit of promotion of the Rule of Law and of a tax system that embraces fairness and equality.

Constantinos Yannopoulos will remain a source of inspiration for the Zepos & Yannopoulos family.
