As a result of the firm’s continuous growth, Zepos & Yannopoulos has decided to appoint Stamatis Drakakakis, partner, as a new member to its Executive Committee increasing its size from five to six members.
Stamatis, a practice-leader, with many years of international experience and a proven track record of success, is highly regarded for his ability to handle business challenges and is widely recognised for his integrity, innovative thinking and expertise.
Stamatis Drakakakis is a member of our corporate commercial practice and head of the Antitrust & Competition team. He covers the full range of competition law including state aid and sector specific regulation, advising clients from a wide variety of industries. He represents clients before the Hellenic Competition Commission and the Greek Appellate and Supreme administrative courts, the European Commission and both the General Court and the Court of Justice of the EU.
Stamatis is admitted before the Supreme Court. He started and completed his lawyer traineeship in the firm back in the late ‘90s and rejoined our firm in the end of 2019.
