Zepos & Yannopoulos participated in Online Event organised by OneTrust Privacy Connect

On Tuesday, 24 November 2020, Mary Deligianni, head of our data protection & cybersecurity practice and Chair of Athens Chapter of OneTrust Privacy Connect, moderated an online webinar organized by OneTrust Privacy Connect on the draft Code of Conduct for lawyers and law firms in Greece. Mary Deligianni discussed with distinguished speakers the specificities of the data processing activities performed by lawyers and law firms in the context of the provision of legal services and their obligations arising from the data protection legislation. In particular, Mary exchanged views on best practices from the market, regulatory and academic perspective with the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of Cyprus Irene Loizidou-Nicolaidou and Professor Lilian Mitrou. Our firm participated actively with extensive comments on the draft Code which was recently under public consultation.
