Zepos & Yannopoulos acted as the Greek legal counsel of Piraeus Bank, and issued a legal opinion in relation to Piraeus Bank’s agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), whereby EBRD agreed to a Euro 50mn facility to Piraeus Bank under the EBRD’s Trade Facilitation Programme in order to enhance export and import oriented companies.
The transaction was led by Christina Papanikolopoulou, assisted by Kely Pesketzi, Stergios Frastanlis and Mary Nigritinou. Daphne Cozonis and Katerina Vagia were involved on the tax side.
