Zepos & Yannopoulos is committed to protecting your privacy. Please read the following notice to understand how we collect and use the personal data you provide to us by filling out the job application form provided on our website.

1. What personal data we collect?

If you choose to apply for a job position, we are going to process your personal data provided by you. These include the information included in your CV, your contact details (name, surname, email address and telephone number), as well as any additional information provided by you.

2. How we use your personal data and for which purposes?

We will process your personal data, so that we can evaluate your qualification and properly process your application. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is our legitimate interest to evaluate job applications and make informed decisions on new recruitments and, in case of eligible candidates, to take the necessary steps prior to entering into an employment contract with them.

Should your qualifications and experience match those required for the opening you applied for or any of our current openings, we will contact you. Otherwise, we will keep your CV for a maximum period of eighteen (18) months, in case a position which matches your qualifications and interests opens. Should you wish that we keep your CV for an additional period, please indicate this when sending over your application to us.

In case that your application is not successful, we will delete all the information provided by you, including your CV and your application, but we will only keep your name, the position for which you applied and a short description of the evaluation process, for future reference purposes. The legal basis for the retention of your personal data after the evaluation of your application lies with our legitimate interest to ensure an efficient recruitment procedure, so we will retain this data for a reasonable period of time, in principle not exceeding five (5) years as from the termination of the evaluation process.

3. How we share and how we protect your personal data?

The security of your personal data is of utmost importance to us. We are committed to maintaining the highest technical and organizational measures to protect the integrity, confidentiality and availability of personal data and to keep them secure against unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, unlawful destruction or loss.

We will process your CV fairly and lawfully and that your application will be treated with the strictest confidentiality, so we will not share or disclose your data to any third parties other than employees and members of our firm, who will be involved with the processing of your application and our trusted IT service providers, who are involved with the operation of our website and are bound to comply with all necessary technical and organizational measures for the protection of your personal data.

4. What are your rights?

You have the right to request a copy of all data we hold for you. You also have the right to have your data erased or rectified and the right to restrict and to object to the processing of your personal data by our firm. In addition, you have the right to receive the personal data that we keep for you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to have them transmitted to another company suggested by you without hindrance from our firm. The above rights can be exercised by sending an email to the email address provided hereunder.

If you consider that our firm violates the applicable data protection laws when processing your personal data, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
