Full Biography
Sonia co-heads the real estate practice of Zepos & Yannopoulos. She specialises in real estate, hotel & leisure, dispute resolution and corporate law. With over 15 years of experience in the real estate practice advising international and domestic clients she has a solid track record on property transactions, such as acquisitions and disposals, commercial and residential lease agreements, tourism-related contracts, sale and lease back arrangements. Sonia has also significant experience in the creation of in rem securities and the restructuring of collaterals, as well as in the due diligence of real estate portfolios. Sonia represents clients before the First Instance Court, the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court, on disputes arising from real estate, leases, tourism-related contracts, recovery of debts and claims and tort.
Sonia is also a CEDR Accredited Mediator and one of the first 50 mediators accredited by the Greek Ministry of Justice.
She was admitted to the Athens Bar in 2000 and joined Zepos & Yannopoulos in 2001 and she is admitted before the Supreme Court.
