Hara specializes in indirect taxation and customs law. She has extensive experience in VAT, stamp duty and other indirect tax issues, as well as in customs and excise duty matters. She regularly advises international and domestic clients on issues relating to, among others, the optimization of their import or export structures. Furthermore, Hara often advises clients in relation to liabilities for tax and/or customs infringements, VAT and customs compliance and customs valuation issues. In terms of tax and customs controversy, Hara often supports clients dealing with VAT and customs audits and has successfully handled numerous disputes related to VAT, customs and excise duty issues before the Administrative Courts of First and Second Instance (Court of Appeals) and the Supreme Administrative Court.
Hara was admitted to the Athens Bar in 2007 and joined our firm in 2006. She is admitted before the Supreme Administrative Court.
