Daphne Cozonis is a partner of our tax practice. She was admitted to the Athens Bar in 1995 and joined our firm in 1998.
Daphne is heading the firm’s banking, finance and capital markets tax practice and also focuses on corporate and international taxation as well as M&A. She has advised on the domestic structuring and implementation for several international M&A transactions and has extensive experience in advising multinational clients on corporate finance, corporate restructurings and specialized corporate taxation matters. She also advises on securities and derivatives taxation.
Daphne is a lead author of the Chapter on Greece of IBFD’s Mergers & Acquisitions and was recently a speaker in the panel "Who Says There’s No Place Like Home? – The joys and discontents of redomiciling" in the IBA 33rd International Financial Law Conference held in Athens in May 2016.
Daphne is admitted before the Court of Appeals and works in Greek, English and French.
