Zepos & Yannopoulos advised Reale Group in the acquisition of a c. 77% majority stake in Ydrogios Insurance and Reinsurance S.A., a Greek non-life insurance company with an established presence in the motor vehicle insurance sector. The acquisition of the majority stake in Ydrogios Insurance and Reinsurance S.A. by Reale Group has been completed, following the relevant regulatory approval by the Bank of Greece. Zepos & Yannopoulos acted as exclusive legal advisor to the successful entry of Reale Group into the Greek insurance market throughout the M&A process, from due diligence to advising on all key parameters of the transaction, including the drafting, structuring and negotiation of the transactional documentation until the acquisition of the majority stake in Ydrogios of c. 77%, including the assistance with the first meetings of the corporate bodies post-acquisition.
