The Cadastral Office of Athens, according to its announcement dated 17.03.2022, will post on line the reports rendered in response to applications for correction of its preliminary postings that had been filed by real estate right holders. All interested parties (i.e. applicants as well as owners of affected properties) will be able to access such reports via the online platform www.ktimatologio.gov.gr. Such posting will commence on 29.03.2022.
Further, within an exclusive deadline of thirty days, i.e. from 29.03.2022 to 27.04.2022, parties that had filed applications for correction will need to notify the owners of accordingly affected properties of a) the initial application for correction, b) the Cadastre correction report (posted as above), and, if applicable, c) the applicant’s objections against such report submitted via the online platform www.ktimatologio.gov.gr. Further, proof of above notification will need to be submitted within the above deadline again via the online platform www.ktimatologio.gov.gr.
Thereafter, third party affected owners will be able, within an exclusive deadline of thirty days, i.e. from 28.04.2022 to 27.05.2022, either to file their own objections and submit relevant evidence, or to agree in writing with the notified correction report. In case no action is taken from their side, they will be deemed to have agreed with the correction.
Last, the applications for correction, the reports of the Cadastral Office and the relevant objections will be forwarded directly by the Cadastral Office to the Case Examination Committees. If no objections will have been submitted, the Cadastral Office will proceed to the implementation of its correction report and, where applicable, correct the preliminary postings.
Above procedure will be carried out for the first time exclusively via the online platform www.ktimatologio.gov.gr, accessible by individuals and legal entities, with the taxisnet codes.
Therefore, all parties holding properties in Athens, irrespective of whether they had filed applications for correction or not, should check the status of the Cadastre entries on their declared properties to make sure that the properties are not affected by any correction application.
