We keep strengthening our Project Development/Infrastructure & Construction team and we are seeking to recruit a senior associate lawyer to join us.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be working with a group of lawyers of various levels of experience, and you will participate in the practice areas covered by the group. The team covers a broad spectrum of construction mandates, from residential and industrial developments to energy sector projects, focusing on the negotiation of contractual documentation for all disciplines involved, advice on construction related aspects, and contract management support during the life cycle of the project.

You will be exposed in significant construction and infrastructure projects in various sectors, advising leading international and domestic clients in close collaboration with the head of the group.

Qualifications

  • At least 8+ years in Project Development /Infrastructure & Construction;
  • Experience in contract drafting and negotiation;
  • Good knowledge of industry specific contracts, regulations, and procedures in all disciplines involved in construction projects;
  • Qualified to practice law in Greece;
  • Postgraduate degree in commercial and/or contract law (LL.M or equivalent) will be considered an asset;
  • Experience in energy sector construction and infrastructure projects will be highly rated.

Skills Required

  • Ability to work autonomously and interact independently with the client and the project teams;
  • Good understanding of clients’ business and needs;
  • Strong project and contract management skills;
  • Able to form successful client relationships by demonstrating genuine interest for client’s needs by being available and maintaining a regular communication;
  • Highly motivated and dynamic professional that inspire and motivate team members;
  • Friendly personality, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work efficiently and effectively not only within a team but with all hierarchical levels in the organisation;
  • Native Greek speaker with excellent command of the English language (oral and written);
  • Excellent level of computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Personality with high morale and integrity.
